Retainer Rings are generally used with Internal Halyard flagpoles by providing a means of keeping the bottom of the flag close to the pole and as an aid to raise and lower the flag.  Flagpole counterweights (sold separately) are often used in conjunction with these retainer rings.

Retainer rings can also be used on large multi-grommet flags on both External and Internal Halyard flagpoles as a means to keep the flag close to the pole and reduce strain on the upper and lower grommets of the flag.

These roped retainer rings are constructed of 3/16" Nylon Wire Center Halyard with zinc plated carbon steel thimbles attached to the ends with an aluminum crimp.  Complete with Stainless Steel Quick Link.  Standard colors are White, Silver, Bronze #313, and Black.
